FW: Russian Gift to the United States
This is the first that I have heard of this monument to those who died on 9/11. I looked it up and it certainly is there on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River (Bayonne, New Jersey), in line with the Statue of Liberty . See below facts about the monument.

- Artist: Zurab Tsereteli
- Made and installed by the people of Russia to honor those who died in 9/11 and a statement against terrorism.
- Names of the persons killed on 9/11 are inscribed on the base.
- The base is like the Vietnam Memorial wall.
- The walkway is made of stones.
- It is down in the shipping yards across from “The Lady.”
- The tear drop is lined up with the Statue of Liberty.
- It is an impressive memorial and statement against terrorism.
